A magical town with a lot of tradition and culture.
This magic town, of great importance in the history of Chiapas, is located in the right bank of the Grijalva River (or the Grand River); it is the seat of The Parachicos’ Dance and it has been named Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
In the main square are the walkways or arches with craft stalls, regional sweets, drinks; some restaurants and other stores.

How to arrive
Chiapa de Corzo is located 14 kilometers from Tuxtla. To visit it you must head south on the highway Ángel Albino Corzo and take the Highway 190 or 195, from the state capital.
